Terms of Use
Last updated 16 June 2026
Charity Billionaire is a no-lose, prize-linked charitable prize draw operated by Golden Home Project, LLC ("the Company," "we," or "us"). You deposit funds into a shared, non-custodial smart contract; your deposit remains yours and is refundable in full at any time. Each week, only the interest earned by the pool is distributed — never anyone's deposit. By accessing this website or interacting with the smart contract, you agree to these Terms.
1. What this is — and is not
Charity Billionaire is a prize draw funded solely by the interest accruing on pooled deposits. It is not a lottery, not a sweepstakes, and not a wager. No purchase, ticket, fee, or stake is required to participate, and nothing of value is paid for a chance to win. Deposits are refundable in full at any time, so no consideration is paid. It is not a security, investment product, or deposit account, and nothing here is an offer of, or solicitation for, any investment. We pay no interest, dividend, or return to you on your deposit; the only sum ever distributed is the pool's interest, allocated to one randomly selected depositor, to charity, and to operations.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
- You must not be located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where participation is prohibited or restricted, nor on any sanctions or prohibited-persons list.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful where you live.
3. Deposits and withdrawals
Deposits are held by an open, non-custodial smart contract. No operator, administrator, or third party can move, lend, freeze, or seize your deposit. You may withdraw your full deposit at any time, directly from the contract, without permission. You retain control of your own funds and your own wallet at all times.
4. The weekly draw
Each week, the interest earned by the pool is distributed: 90% to a single depositor selected at random, 5% to a vetted charity, and 5% to operations. The winner is chosen using Chainlink VRF, a publicly verifiable source of randomness. Every depositor's chance is proportional to the size of their deposit — each unit of currency deposited carries one equal, independent chance. There is no guarantee that you will ever be selected. The operator address earns interest for the pool but is excluded from winning.
5. Charity
The charitable recipient rotates among a curated roster of high-efficiency organizations and is published on-chain before each draw. We do not control how a recipient ultimately uses funds and make no representation about any charity beyond its inclusion on our roster.
6. Risks
By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities despite testing and audits.
- The pool earns interest through third-party DeFi protocols whose performance and solvency we do not control.
- Deposits and distributions use a digital stablecoin, the value and availability of which may change.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible and require network fees that we do not set.
- Funds are not insured by any government or deposit-insurance scheme.
- The regulatory treatment of these arrangements may change and could affect availability.
7. No advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. We are not a bank, broker, or licensed adviser. Consult your own professionals before participating. Any prize you receive is generally taxable to you, and you alone are responsible for reporting and paying any tax you owe; the autonomous contract issues no tax forms. See Taxes & Reporting.
8. No warranty
The website and smart contract are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Home Project, LLC and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, or data, arising from your use of the website or smart contract. Because the contract is non-custodial, you alone are responsible for your wallet, keys, and transactions.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
